I have quite a few perennials around the property that I hope to dig up this Fall and maybe add in to some of the bare spots.. That little purple-ish heuchera as well as some of the hostas all came from other gardens on the property..
So that was the year in tips from The Creek Line House!I hope you enjoyed it even half as much as I did.
I can’t wait to see what 2014 brings! It’s Christmas Eve and here I am with my last Christmas post of the season.I can’t believe I got it done on time!.Back in October,.
contacted me to see if I’d be interested in trying out one of their artificial trees. We’ve always had real trees, but recently I’ve been really interested to see what an artificial tree is like as well.
We have two real trees up right now in our house, and eventually I’d like to one year be able to have a tree in every room.
Going to the farm to cut down all those trees just wouldn’t be convenient, so having a few artificial trees for the bedrooms makes total sense.. Balsam Hill agreed to try to rush a tree to me within a week so I could get it up and make a little video for them with plenty of time before baby Jack would be born.Dishes, books, pictures, thingamajigs… it’s all good!.
If you’ve got a shelf that you can’t seem to arrange in a way that you like, take five minutes and try this one out!I’m all about saving energy lately. It’s amazing how much more we use at this time of year when we need to keep our homes warm and well-lit for so many hours every day.
I just learned this trick and I think it’s so fun and something I never thought of before.Just turn your ceiling fans on low and run them in a clockwise direction to help push warm air down.
